RAW – Seeds Kohlrabi White Vienna


In 800 A.D., the Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne ordered that kohlrabi be grown in Imperial gardens. By the 1600s, Kohlrabi had spread to India, China and other parts of East Asia, the Middle East and Africa via trade.

White Vienna is creamy white in color with above ground ‘bulbs” and tastes like a mild broccoli mixed with apples. It can be used grated raw in salads, cooked in stir fries, or roasted.  It is drought tolerant and a good, easy vegetable to grow.

Sow in rows 15cm apart and think out plants to 10cm apart in rows. Sow in Late summer and Autumn.

Grows to 50cm. Harvest in 50-70 days.
