Episode 2

In this week’s episode I’ll share some information on the popular Malva and how to plant and maintain them in a pot. With the last of the winter annuals still in bloom, it is not too late to enjoy them in your garden. I’ll give the low-down on seedling packs and colour bags, and show you how to go about planting them with the help of a new 3-step fertilizer.

Episode 3

In this week’s episode I’ll take a look at the wonderful variety of ornamental grasses that are sure to bring texture to your garden. I’ll demonstrate how ornamental grasses can be planted with colourful Dianthus to create a striking area in the garden. When it comes to lawns, most of us have them, and most of us struggle to keep them looking lush and green year round. I’ll give some pointers on getting the most out of your green turf.

Episode 4

Walkways come in various shapes and forms, so in this week’s episode I’ll show a few ground cover options that will make your stepping stones the star of the show… When it comes to planting veggie seeds, there are a few things to take into consideration to ensure you’re getting the most out of your seeds. I’ll show how to work with different sized seeds by creating a bulking agent. Tending to your trees is as important as mowing the lawn. I demonstrate how to trim a tree and you can create garden mulch from the cut-offs.

Episode 5

In this week’s episode, I demonstrate how you can cover a bare wall with a beautiful climber like Displadenia. With water-wise on everyone’s lips, propagating your succulents is easy and a must! I’ll show you how to get the most out of your succulents! Keeping your roses looking spectacular is as easy as following a few basic steps. I’ll share my taking on getting the most out of roses.

    First of all, love your show! Please can you let me know where you found your green plastic ‘basket’ that you use to mix your potting soil etc. My mom has been searching high and low in Durban for something similar to it.

    I live in Graaff-Reinet and have developed my own Grey water system. Is there any household additive that will not damage the plants but reduce the smell of the tank.
